10 hot Tips and Tricks to get the most out of your pre wedding shoot...

One of my favorite things to do before i shoot a wedding is a pre wedding session. I love getting to know my clients before their big day, and it gives them the opportunity to see what its like to be involved in a real photo shoot. Each session reflects the core of their love and highlights their personalities.

Having a pre-wedding shoot can help improve your wedding pictures. Think about it, the more time you spend with your photographer in front of the camera the more comfortable you become being the subject.

Try to get to know your photographer. Have fun. Be crazy.

So i have lots of my clients ask me so what do i need to do for my pre wedding shoot.. So here we go.. 10 hot tips and tricks to get the most out of your pre wedding shoot..

1: Be organized, plan your pre wedding shoot in advance. Think of a theme / a look that you are after and go with it.

2: Choose a location that is appropriate and goes with your theme.

3: Match the appropriate type of clothing to the location you have chosen. eg: beach, don’t ware 6inch heels.. Long flowed dress with some flats that are easy to remove on the sand are a much better option.

4: Bring along some props to have fun with these can make the shoot more interesting and fun.. eg: mini black boards, bicycle, a picnic basket and blanket.

5: Follow directions from your photographer. Listen to the tips they are giving you. Eg: don’t slouch, when kissing hold it for the camera.

6: Treat your photo shoot like its a photo shoot for a magazine. Go to the effort of great make up and hair lots of our brides take this opportunity to have there hair and makeup trials. Remember these photos can be used for your walls, displays at the reception, guestbook etc.

7: Go to bed early the night before and be happy in your photos. True happiness is expressed in photos so let your inner beauty come out.. and be your self.

8:If the weather is not good DONT STRESS overcast and light rain is better than a bright blue sky, it adds lots of lovely depth and contrast to your photos.

9: Let your photographer know if you have an concerns about anything during your pre wedding shoot. Eg: you are self conscious of your arms, nose or you don’t feel confortable kissing etc this will help to save time on your wedding day and also will help in making your shot run smoothly on your wedding day..

10: TRUST your photographer this is the most important thing as they will be in control on your wedding day.

So take advantage of this months special and receive a free pre wedding shoot with any package booked…
